MK Highways has been active in many projects that have been undertaken since the beginning of 'Lockdown' as a result of the pandemic. As the authority is a 'first responder' we have assisted other departments to deliver key support functions to support health services.


  • Setting up 'Temporary Place of Rest'
  • Assisting with resources to the Burial Services
  • Redeploying staff to other departments 
  • Advising and setting up Traffic Management for the Covid Testing Centre in MK

MK receives £2.796 million Pothole Fund/Challenge Fund grant from DfT

Milton Keynes has been awarded £2.796 m grant by the Department for Transport who has identified that the funding should be directed towards repairing damaged roads, tackling potholes and repairs to bridges/structures.
